Youth Encouraged to Join the ‘Lead With Life’ Health Program at SICC on Nov 9 – Dr Davina Markus

KOTA KINABALU: Young people are invited to take part in the “Lead With Life” health program and blood donation campaign organised by the Health Bureau of the Exco of the Women’s Movement of the Sabah People’s Gagasan Party (PGRS).

This event will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) over two days starting November 9.

Dr. Davina Markus, chairperson of the Health Bureau, said that the program aims to recruit new blood donors, particularly among young women in PGRS, who can set a positive example in the community.

Dr. Davina, who also leads the organising committee, believes that inspiring others starts with leading by example within the party.

She encourages young women in PGRS to embrace blood donation as a social duty and a commitment to their community.

“This is a chance for our female members to demonstrate that women leaders can effectively contribute to humanitarian efforts,” she said in a statement today.

The program will also provide a welcoming area for new donors, featuring a cafe corner, exclusive souvenirs, and free dental and health check-ups.

Dr. Davina hopes this initiative will spread awareness about the importance of blood donation, especially among the youth in the state.

“We want the community to see the bravery and dedication of PGRS female members who are ready to give through ‘Your 1st Drop Gives A Lifetime Impact, Lead With Life,'” she added.

Dr. Davina invites everyone to support the ‘Lead With Life’ program and hopes it will create a lasting impact.
