KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Foundation has been chosen to be the local partner to implement the Nature Conservation Agreement (NCA).
The appointment was agreed upon by the Sabah cabinet on Wednesday and Sabah Foundation is expected to work closely with Hoch Standard Pte Ltd to implement the NCA.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said Hoch Standard will assist Sabah Foundation in this new role by providing the necessary technology and know-how to ensure the implementation of NCA will be done accordingly.
“Sabah Foundation will sign a separate service agreement with Hoch Standard. Under the service agreement, Hoch Standard is expected to pay Sabah Foundation five per cent of its gross revenue from the NCA for the Sabah Foundation’s activities related to the NCA,” he said.
