KOTA KINABALU: The City Hall here has announced that it will resume its parking coupon operation on February 22.
In a notice issued by the mayor, Noorliza Awang Alip today, she mentioned that the operation will be carried out at all areas under the City Hall’s jurisdiction.
She also mentioned two exemptions that would be imposed.
The first exemption is for motorists who purchased the Monthly Parking Coupon for January 2021.
She said that due to the Movement Control Order 2.0, motorists who have purchased the monthly parking coupon for January 2021 are allowed to use the January MPC for the entire February month and will not be compounded in February 2021.
She also said that daily parking coupons that expired in 2020 can still be used until the end of next month (March, 2021).
Motorists are also informed that they can purchase the MPC and carry out checks on compound payments at all counters and kiosks of DBKK Holding Sdn Bhd under the Carpark management system throughout the city.
