KOTA KINABALU: Social activist and advisor to the Sabah Drug Prevention and Crime Organization (PPDJS), Mohd Zaki Harry Susanto, has been appointed as a member of the new Board of Directors (BOD) of the Sabah Rice and Padi Board (LPBS).
He is one of four new BOD members who received their appointment letters from the Sabah Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food Industry, Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, who is also the chairman of LPBS, at the ministry’s office on Monday.
According to Zaki, 52, as a BOD member, he has been tasked with assisting the LPBS headquarters in strengthening enforcement and regulation of the state government agency.
“I am very grateful to Allah SWT and thank the minister for the trust and responsibility given to me.
“This is a great honour, and I see it as an excellent opportunity to contribute my service and experience, especially in the enforcement aspect,” he stated in his latest social media post.
A native of Tawau, he has previously held the position of senior police officer and has also served as the director of the Enforcement and Regulation Division in a statutory body under one of the federal ministries.
Zaki is also a former Community Development Leader (PPM) for the Tanjung Batu state constituency.
