KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Warisan Party (Warisan) continues to strengthen its leadership lineup with the appointment of Datuk Harun Ismail as a member of the party’s Supreme Council (AMT).
This appointment was announced by its President, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, following the recent AMT meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Kolombong.
Harun’s appointment is seen as a potential boost to the party’s leadership, particularly in enhancing the machinery and operations at the grassroots level.
This development has also garnered attention in Pitas and the P167 Kudat parliamentary constituency as Warisan prepares for the upcoming general elections.
Harun’s entry into the AMT comes at a time when Warisan is intensifying its efforts to solidify its position and strategize politically for the electoral competition.
As a member of the party’s top leadership, Harun is expected to play a significant role in the operational work and implementation of Warisan’s strategies alongside the existing leadership team.
