Former Estate Manager Gundohing Edward Kandok Appointed as DUN Sook KDM Chief

KENINGAU: Gundohing Edward Kandok, the former manager of IG Plantation has been appointed as the DUN Sook Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) Chief effective immediately.

The letter of appointment was presented by KDM Vice President Dr. Oswald Aisat during a brief ceremony in Kg Susulat Sook on Wednesday.

Also present at the event were Gundohing Jeckreson Kilan, the KDM Division Chief for the Pensiangan Parliamentary Constituency, Pensiangan KDM Women’s Chief Puan Helda Jali and Pensiangan KDM Puteri Chief Effani Edward.

Edward, who previously served as the Community Development Leader (PPM) for Sook, expressed that his new role Sook KDM Coordinator is a significant responsibility that he is committed to fulfilling.

“This position requires support from all parties, especially from KDM leaders at all levels, particularly in the Dun Sook area.

“This responsibility is not an easy one, but I am confident that with a strong team spirit, KDM can present a formidable challenge in DUN Sook during the upcoming state elections,” he saif after receiving his appointment certificate.

Edward noted that with the increasing support for KDM, now led by the charismatic young leader Priscella Peter, the party is poised to make an impact in two other Dun seats within the Pensiangan Parliament, namely Dun Tulid and Nabawan.
