KOTA KINABALU: Rotary Club of Kinabalu Sutera is proud to announce successful visit to SJKC Yuk Kong, Keningau, facilitated on June 28, 2024.
This initiative was a collaborative effort hosted by Rotary Club of Kinabalu Sutera and generously sponsored by Latter-Day Saints Charity Group.
During our visit, we ensured the installation and provision of several critical resources to enhance the educational environment for the students and staff at SJKC Yuk Kong. The contributions included:
Laptops -To support digital learning and provide students with the necessary tools to excel in today’s technologically driven educational landscape.
Bookshelves-To organize and expand the library’s resources, promoting a culture of reading and knowledge.
Tables and Chairs -To furnish classrooms and common areas, creating a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.
CCTV Installation – To ensure the safety and security of students and staff within the school premises.

Club President Roger Yapp would like to express deep gratitude to Immediate Past President Ir. Chaw Zie Der for his dedication and aggressive liaison with SJKC Yuk Kong and Latter-Day Saints Charity Group. Through his efforts, a total of RM 209,000 was successfully gathered for SJKC Yuk Kong.
