Let us join forces to create a brighter future in 2024, says Ewon

KOTA BELUD: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick has called on the citizens of this nation to join hands in making the New Year 2024 even better than the previous years.

As the Kadamaian assemblyman, he emphasizes that this year’s improvement will be achieved by drawing inspiration from past successes and accomplishments, as well as learning from challenges and limitations.

“While we have faced numerous challenges in the past, we must utilise the positive experiences as motivation and examples to give our best in the coming year. Similarly, we should take the less favourable moments as valuable lessons to strive for improvement,” he stated.

He further acknowledges that this serves as a reminder of his responsibilities as a representative of the people of Kadamaian and Penampang, which extend throughout the entire country.

These responsibilities are at the forefront of his mind as he addresses the New Year 2024 Gratitude Ceremony of SDA Gaur Church and the Inauguration of the Agape Hall of SRA Gaur in Kg. Gaur today.

During the event, Ewon officially inaugurated the SRA Gaur Agape Hall, which was constructed in 2023 with his allocated funds of RM70,000.

Additionally, he has agreed to allocate RM50,000 to enhance the facilities of Kg Gaur SDA Church and has presented an allocation of RM40,000 to Kg Marou SDA Church following his previous visit.

As a Member of Parliament for Penampang, Ewon emphasises the importance of political stability in order to foster economic prosperity.

He believes that by uniting the people and focusing on the needs of the nation, Malaysia can once again compete on the global stage.
