He said based on feedback, the majority of the registered voters from Sabah residing in Selangor had expressed full support for the Unity government under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“I notice most of Sabahans, including those working or living in Selangor, support the Unity government.

“Obviously, in the seven months Anwar became Prime Minister, many changes and reforms were brought that had never been done by leaders before,” he said.

Peter said this after attending the Santai Kaamatan program officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari at Padang Sri Muda, near here on Sunday.

Also present were Sabah BN Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and KDM Deputy President Datuk Wetrom Bahada.

Therefore, Peter appealed to the people to give the Unity government a chance to pursue the national development agenda for the common good.

“In the years to come, I believe the development agenda brought by the Prime Minister will be stronger…so give him (Anwar) the opportunity to realise the vision of a Malaysia Madani,” he said.
