SANDAKAN : Sandakan Media Association (Pemassa) is organising a “Family Day” for its over 33 members this Aug 30 evening.
The event will be held at Waterfront Seafood Restaurant in Sandakan Harbour Square with Tanjong Papat Chinese Community Leader Kapitan Thomas Lau Chi Keong as the guest of honour.
Pemassa chairman James Leong said the “Family Day” programme is the first get together organised by the association following the government’s announcement the endemic stage of Covid-19 would begin from April 1.
Several activities have been lined up for the programme and among them are lucky draw , karaoke session and poetry recital by member Sante Villiamon in conjunction with the National Day celebration, James said.
James thanked his committees, Thomas Lau and all other sponsors for their support in making the organising of the event possible.
