12 students from the Sepanggar Parliamentary constituency achieved a CGPA of 4.00 in the 2025 STPM

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 12 students from the Sepanggar parliamentary constituency have successfully attained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00 in the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) 2025 examination.

Describing this outstanding achievement as commendable, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud stated that this success demonstrates that the youth of Sepanggar possess significant potential to compete and excel at higher levels.

He noted that out of this number, 11 are students from the Kota Kinabalu Sixth Form College.

“Even more impressive, Kota Kinabalu Sixth Form College has emerged as the best sixth form college in Sabah and at the national level,” he remarked.

Mustapha made these comments during the Madani STPM 2025 Outstanding Student Award Ceremony at Kota Kinabalu Sixth Form College today.

He also extended his congratulations to Ahmad Mursyied Umair bin Darwis from SMK Agama Kota Kinabalu, who has brought honor to the state of Sabah by being named the National Best Student for STPM Year 2025.

Mustapha emphasized that this achievement not only brings pride to his school but also serves as an inspiration to all students in the Sepanggar constituency and the state of Sabah.

He also expressed his gratitude to all sixth form teachers, principals, and school administrators who are consistently dedicated to guiding and supporting the students
