KOTA KINABALU: As the Sabah State Election (PRN) approaches, the Information Chief of the Gagasan Rakyat, Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan, urges the people to maintain their fighting spirit under the banner of the Sabah People’s Coalition (GRS).
He stated that since its establishment, GRS has adhered to the principles of unity and shared responsibility among the people of Sabah, expressed through the concepts of #RumahKitaKitaJaga and #KitaJagaSabah.
According to him, both concepts introduced by the President of Gagasan Rakyat and Chairman of GRS, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, on March 2, 2023, are not just slogans but a political philosophy emphasising unity and love for the state.
“This philosophy invites all Sabahans to help each other and work together to protect the state, regardless of background, ethnicity, or religion. This is the true strength of GRS,” he said in a statement here today.
Nizam explained that these two concepts also complement the four main pillars of GRS’s struggle, namely #SabahFirst, #SabahForward, #SabahProsper, and #SabahUnited, driven by the spirit of #SayangiSabah since the official launch of the coalition on May 28, 2022.
“These four pillars guide GRS in ensuring that Sabah is governed with priority given to its people, with a long-term vision, and developing the state comprehensively and inclusively,” he said.
He added that in July, during the Annual General Conference of the Sabah People’s Aspiration Party, the idea of #SabahTanahAirku was born, further strengthening the spirit of love and loyalty towards the state.
