TONGOD: Four influential political party coalitions in Kuamut have completed their final preparations for the upcoming State Election (PRN-17).
The four primary parties in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Kuamut, namely the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat), Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Parti Solidariti Tanahair (STAR), and Usno, are fully prepared to enter the final phase of PRN-17.
The Chairman of GRS Kuamut, Datuk Masiung Banah, stated that the coalition has already mobilized its machinery to meet the challenges posed by rival parties, determined to maintain GRS’s dominant strength.
The Kuamut representative mentioned this after attending a briefing for polling agents and vote counting agents at the Dewan Simpang Entilibon, the day before yesterday.
The Director of the Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Secretariat, Datuk Abdul Kassim Razali, was also present, leading a delegation of training officers and speakers from Kota Kinabalu during the briefing.
According to Masiung, GRS Kuamut will not rely solely on reports from the War Room Secretariat but has been actively working on the ground for over a year.
“Our mission is to defend the GRS seat and achieve a significant majority in Kuamut leading up to PRN-17.
“As a preparedness measure, GRS, under the Gagasan Rakyat umbrella, has initiated party activities across the Kuamut area for the past three years,” he emphasized.
Further commenting, Masiung, who is also the Vice President of Gagasan Rakyat, stated that a joint committee has been established at each Voting District Center (PDM) to ensure that the preparations for this election campaign proceed smoothly.
The heads of GRS Kuamut divisions present at the briefing included Mandik Yadam (Star), James Aik (Usno), and Dusin Janis (PBS).
300 members of the main GRS machinery also attended the final briefing and lecture, pledging their strong support for the GRS candidate who will contest to defend the GRS seat in Kuamut
