KOTA BELUD: As the nation prepares to celebrate National Day with a grand event on August 31, the welfare of the elderly in this area, particularly in DUN Kadamaian, continues to receive attention from various parties.
Recently, potential candidate for the Democratic People’s Welfare Party (KDM), Gundohing Josely Taising, took the time to engage with the elderly in Kg Tegudon, Kadamaian.
During the visit, Josely provided a small donation to the elderly residents of the village.
He expressed hope that the contribution would help alleviate the burdens faced by the families of the elderly there and could be used for their daily needs during the National Day celebrations.
National Day is celebrated across Malaysia every year on August 31 to signify the country’s liberation from colonial rule.
