KOTA MARUDU: Sabah UMNO members were told to keep up their machinery momentum as the 17th state election (PRN) nears.
In making the call, Sabah UMNO treasurer Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak said it iss crucial the party members work hard and ensure victory for UMNO in the constituencies where it will contest.
“Our commitment to the people and our dedication to serving the community must be unwavering.
“To achieve this goal, we must strengthen our party machinery at all levels. This means enhancing our strategies, ensuring effective communication, and mobilising our members to work cohesively,” he said in his opening speech at the Kota Marudu Umno division meeting here today.
Salleh represented Sabah UMNO Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin at the function.
As such, Salleh said UMNO members
need to engage with the community actively, understand their needs and concerns, and provide practical solutions.
“Our leaders and members should be visible and approachable, showing that UMNO is here to serve and make a positive impact,” he said.
In addition, the Usukan assemblyman said to strengthen the machinery, UMNO must also foster a spirit of unity and teamwork.
“Every member of UMNO plays a vital role in our success. Whether you are a seasoned leader or a new member, your contributions are valuable and necessary.
“Let us work together with a shared vision and purpose, putting aside any differences and focusing on our common goal—to serve the people and ensure a brighter future for our community,” he added.
As leaders, he said, “It is our duty to set a positive example.”.
“We must be diligent, honest, and dedicated in our service. Let us reach out to every corner of our constituency, engage with the people, and listen to their voices. By doing so, we will not only strengthen our support base but also reaffirm our commitment to the community’s welfare,” he said.
As such, Salleh urged UMNO members to work hard and remain steadfast to achieve the desired result.
“Together, we can achieve great things and ensure victory for UMNO. Thank you all for your continued support and dedication. Let us go forward with confidence and determination, knowing that our efforts will lead to success,” he said.
