Chief Minister Welcomes New Sabah Federal Secretary

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor received a courtesy visit from the newly appointed Sabah Federal Secretary, Datuk Zul Hadi Ahmad, at his office in Menara Kinabalu here on Wednesday.

Zul Hadi, 57, took office on October 16, replacing Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab who retired.

Before his appointment, he worked as Director of the Agriculture Division at the Ministry of Economy, with 32 years of experience in economics, finance, and strategic policy and planning.

Hajiji congratulated Zul Hadi on his appointment and hopes he can strengthen the relationship and close cooperation between the State Government and the Federal Government, especially involving federal departments and agencies in Sabah.

He said that continued cooperation between both sides is important to ensure policy alignment and smooth and effective implementation of development programs and projects for the benefit of the people.

Hajiji also hopes Zul Hadi can play an effective role as a bridge between both governments to improve coordination, streamline the implementation of the state’s development agenda, and ensure the welfare of Sabah’s people remains a priority.
