KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) has set its sights on becoming the most preferred state government agency in the future, according to its Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah.
He emphasised the importance of providing services that satisfy customers and mentioned that one of the key initiatives to achieve this goal is to cultivate a sense of urgency among DBKK officers and staff, encouraging immediate action when needed.
Sabin also highlighted the significance of ensuring that services are of a high standard, efficient, and transparent.
These remarks were made during a friendly meeting with the media, where DBKK Director General Junaina Abbe, Sabah Journalists Association President Datuk Muguntan Vanar, chief editors, editors and journalists, as well as DBKK directors-in-chief, were present.
Sabin expressed his hope for a continued harmonious relationship between the DBKK and the media, recognising the mutual reliance between the two parties.
He acknowledged the importance of media input in improving efficiency and delivering excellent service to the people of Kota Kinabalu.
Sabin expressed his confidence in the dedication and commitment of DBKK officers and staff, believing that their collective efforts will lead to the achievement of these goals.
