KUALA LUMPUR: The swearing-in ceremony for Federal Ministers is set to take place tomorrow at 2.30 pm at Istana Negara.
According to reports from Bernama, in addition to swearing in and pledging loyalty and secrecy, the newly appointed Cabinet members will also receive their individual letters of appointment during the ceremony.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently suggested the possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle taking place this month.
It is worth noting that the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living position is currently vacant due to the unfortunate passing of Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub on July 23.
In the interim, these responsibilities have been taken up by Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, who currently serves as the Minister for Sabah, Sarawak Affairs, and Special Duties in the Prime Minister’s Department.
