KOTA KINABALU: The former candidate of Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) for the Keningau parliamentary seat in the last general election, Datuk Jake Nointin, has joined the local party United Sabah National Organisation (USNO).

He and his supporters handed over membership forms to USNO president Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia at a brief ceremony here recently.
The participation saw Jake appointed as the Liawan USNO division chief.
USNO is a component party of the local party coalition GRS.
On May 9 last year, GRS officially agreed to accept USNO’s application to join the coalition.
