KOTA KINABALU:I The Fractured Gates of King’s Landing
While the lords of Sabah are busy dividing the spoils of their local harvest and locking themselves inside the fortress of Kota Kinabalu, the eyes of the realm must now turn to the true prize: King’s Landing itself.
GE16 is no longer a structured war between two noble houses; it has become a crowded, chaotic siege where the outcasts of the realm are marching to the gates to demand their pound of flesh.
As the Targaryen Dragon-Lords (PH) look down from the battlements of Putrajaya, they no longer just see traditional rival hosts.
They see a fractured, angry army of lesser houses executing their own survival gambits, triggered by a massive shift in the distant wildlands.
The Northern Alliance: The Kaamatan Handshake
The true panic inside King’s Landing began when the couriers brought news from the misty valleys of the East. House Lannister (GRS) thought they had the Bornean realm locked down, but winter changes everything.
In a historic move, House Stark (Warisan) marched out of its coastal strongholds to meet the Lord of the Vale (STAR) on neutral ground. Instead of a clash of swords, the world witnessed the Kaamatan Handshake.
By cutting the harvest together, the Starks and the Vale forged a truce that bypassed the Targaryen dragons entirely.
This purely Bornean front has effectively surrounded the Lannister capital, starving out the Red Keep’s supply lines and forcing the great ruling houses to realize that their eastern flank has completely collapsed.
The Trapped Legions: The Second Sons and The Golden Company
This sudden northern truce has left the Emperor’s frontline forces in a state of absolute claustrophobia.
The Second Sons (PKR): The mercenary knight company loyal to the Targaryen Emperor finds themselves completely marooned.
Without a deep-rooted local bloodline or tribal identity, they exist in Sabah purely on the prestige of the Emperor’s name. Cut off by the Stark-Vale alliance, the Second Sons are highly vulnerable to being wiped out in the coming frost, their only hope being to desperately anchor themselves to any regional lord who will grant them winter shelter.
The Golden Company (DAP): Playing a far more calculated game, this elite, highly disciplined legion of sellswords holds an iron grip on the wealthiest urban coastal ports.
They do not care about internal tribal blood feuds; they care about commercial stability. While the Second Sons panic, the Golden Company is quietly reviewing its ledgers.
They will sell their formidable voter machinery to whichever Great House guarantees the safest trade routes, watching the Lannister walls crack to see if it is time to sign a new contract with House Stark.
The Panicked Bridge-Lords: House Frey (UPKO)
As this geopolitical nightmare shifts back toward the capital, the true panic can be felt inside the baggage train of the ruling coalition.
There sits House Frey (UPKO), the slithering snakes of the KDMR crossing.
Having abandoned the Targaryens just before the winter set in, they hurried to bend the knee to the Lannisters inside the Red Keep, desperate for a shield.
But their timing could not have been worse. By locking themselves into a transactional vassal contract right as the Lannister-Targaryen axis begins to fracture under the weight of the Johor Pivot, the Freys have trapped themselves.
They no longer control the bridge; they are stuck on it. As the outcast army marches on the gates, UPKO finds themselves forced to defend a fortress that doesn’t fully trust them, fighting a war for masters who view them as entirely expendable.
The Targaryen Vanguard: The Iron Riders
But the Targaryen Emperor has no intention of relying solely on fickle vassals or trapped sellswords.
Looking out from the high towers of Putrajaya, the Dragon-Lords unleash their ultimate domestic vanguard: The Riders.
This is an unconventional, fiercely loyal swarm of thousands of young, rapid-response outriders dominating the highways and digital arteries of King’s Landing. Bound to the Emperor by recent royal decrees—having been granted the protection of the Gig Worker Charter and supplied with specialized BUDI95 fuel reserves straight from the royal vaults—the Riders form a human shield around the palace gates.
They are the ultimate populist infantry: fast, hungry, and heavily subsidized. The Emperor uses them to flood the roads, drown out the dissent of the smallfolk, and intercept the invading armies before they can even touch the castle walls.
The Ultimate Conditional: The Asymmetric Gambit
Clashing directly into this wall of Targaryen Riders is the unconventional siege train of the outcasts.
Marching at the front is House MUDA, trying to execute the Kinabalu Gambit by hyper-targeting specific urban gates where the Riders’ lines are thinnest, while the fierce shield-maiden Siti Kasim wields the lost Valyrian sword, Dark Sister, like a razor-sharp constitutional blade against institutional corruption.
Behind them march PSM and the grassroots Urami movement, lifting the banners of the overworked and underpaid smallfolk.
The War Room Directive: This entire march is viable if and only if House MUDA, the other minor houses, and the fierce shield-maiden Siti Kasim truly understand the geometry of the battlefield.
If they fight as isolated, Western rebels, they will be ground to dust beneath the wheels of the Targaryen war machine. To break the siege, they must lift their eyes from the local mud and extend their hands across the sea to the Starks of Winterfell.
By linking the urban, digital anger of the West directly to the fierce, sovereign independence of the Bornean alliance, they create an unstoppable trans-regional pincer movement.
The Starks supply the raw parliamentary seats and regional leverage; the urban outcasts supply the narrative weapon to fracture the Targaryen base from within.
The Endgame: The Predictability Collapse
The tragedy of the current occupiers of the Iron Throne is their belief that politics is a game of linear math. They assume that because they have the most banners and a vanguard of loyal Riders, they will automatically hold the castle.
But when the outcasts and the northern wolves successfully clasp hands, all standard formulas fail.
They don’t need to conquer the Red Keep to win. By joining forces, they break the locks, fracture the majorities, and force the Great Houses to negotiate on their knees.
The horns are blowing, the smallfolk are at the walls, the trans-regional bridge has been crossed, and the winter of GE16 has finally arrived at the gates of King’s Landing.
