KPDN Tawau seizes 300 litres of subsidised diesel

TAWAU: A total of 300 litres of subsidised diesel was confiscated during an enforcement operation involving a vehicle that had been modified with an additional tank.

In a statement, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Sabah reported that the seizure was valued at approximately RM11,445.

The vehicle, an Isuzu Trooper, is believed to have been altered to store the fuel in question.

The case has been handed over to the Tawau branch of KPDN for further action, with an investigation being conducted under the Supply Control Act of 1961.

KPDN stated that it will continue to strengthen cooperation with other agencies to combat the diversion of controlled goods.
