KOTA KINABALU: Sabah entrepreneur Datin Saadiah Abdul Rashad has been recognised in the 100 Women of National Inspiration (WIN) 2026 book, highlighting her contributions to entrepreneurship and the nation’s socio-economic development.
The recognition was presented at a ceremony held at Hotel Seri Pacific in Kuala Lumpur on March 28.
Saadiah, who is the Managing Director of Raspand Motor Sdn Bhd, described the recognition as a great honour and a source of motivation to continue contributing to economic growth while strengthening the role of women across various sectors.
She said initiatives such as WIN play an important role in documenting the achievements of women and inspiring more women to pursue success.
“As a representative of Sabah women entrepreneurs, I am proud that this platform not only highlights the achievements of women in Malaysia but also elevates their role as catalysts for the nation’s socio-economic development,” she said in a statement today.
Saadiah has an extensive background in business and entrepreneurship. She previously served as a director of Najib Jaya Sdn Bhd, a company involved in the distribution of imported vehicles and heavy machinery from 2005 to 2014.
She currently leads NJ Autoworld Sdn Bhd, a 3S Honda Malaysia dealer in Sabah since 2014, and is also the owner of Nurnielamsari Travel Sdn Bhd, an inbound tourism company providing ticketing as well as land and sea transportation services since 2009.
Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades, including the Standing Ovation Award 2018 from Amadeus, the Elite Dealer 2019 CEO Award from Honda Malaysia, and the Outstanding Woman Award 2022.
She was also named Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of Sabah 2022 and received the Elite Dealer Malaysia 2024 CEO Award from Honda Malaysia.
In 2025, she was honoured with the Bumiputera Business Excellence Award (BBEA) for her company, Nurnielamsari Travel Sdn Bhd. Apart from her business ventures, Saadiah is actively involved in community and women’s empowerment initiatives, including her role as Patron of the Sabah Bumiputra Cosmetology & Spa Association (SACOSSA).
The WIN 2026 programme was organised by the Sabah Bumiputra Women Small and Medium Industry Entrepreneurs Association (IKSNITA) in collaboration with Lincoln University College Malaysia.
