TAWAU: “No one will be left behind.” This meaningful promise was made by the President of the Sabah People’s Hope Party, Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah, during a friendly gathering with the Chinese community at Warehouse 4, Tawau, on Sunday.
Liew emphasised that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) remains committed to ensuring that every citizen of Sabah receives equal attention and opportunities in the state’s development.
“We do not want anyone to be marginalized, regardless of race or background. Everyone has the right to enjoy the development and progress of this state,” he asserted, met with cheers from the audience.
According to him, the state leadership under Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor is serious about ensuring that progress occurs simultaneously in urban, suburban, and rural areas — without leaving anyone behind.
“Sabah Maju Jaya is not just a slogan, but a movement to ensure that every community, every voice, and every citizen has a place in the state’s development,” he passionately stated.
The event, which was also attended by the Deputy President and Vice President of the party, took place in a lively atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of unity and strong support from the people for the GRS development agenda.
Liew also expressed his gratitude to Datuk Lim Yin Kat and the Gudang 4 community for being the backbone of the program’s success.
