PAS’ Aliakbar proposed as the Chief Minister candidate for Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: A delegate from PAS has suggested that the Chief Commissioner of Sabah, Aliakbar Gulasan, be named as the Chief Minister candidate for Perikatan Nasional (PN) ahead of the upcoming Sabah state election.

FMT reports that PAS representative from Shah Alam, Mohamed Sukri Omar, stated that PAS should also be given the opportunity to lead PN in facing the Sabah state election.

“PAS Shah Alam proposes that for the upcoming Sabah state election, PN consider a Chief Minister candidate from PAS.

“We suggest Aliakbar Gulasan, a scholar and a leader of integrity, to steer the victory in Sabah.

“Starting with the awakening of Sabah, Sarawak, and other states, ultimately leading to the next election, God willing, we can dominate Putrajaya,” he said.

He made these remarks when debating the Empowerment Motion of PN during the 71st Annual PAS Conference in Alor Setar, Kedah today.
