KOTA KINABALU: The official appointment of Tun Musa Aman as the 11th Yang Di-Pertua Negeri (TYT) Sabah marks a significant milestone for the State’s progress and fostering strong unity among the people of Sabah.
While congratulating Tun Musa on his appointment by Yang Di-Pertuan Agong on Dec 17, former Deputy-Speaker of State Legislative Assembly Datuk Johnny Mositun said there is no doubt that Tun Musa is the rightful and prominent Sabahan leader to be appointed as the next Sabah’s TYT.
He said Tun Musa’s vast experience as the then Chief Minister of Sabah for 15 years, his unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions to the development of Sabah throughout his illustrious career, makes this appointment as the new TYT truly well-deserved.
“I have full confidence in Tun Musa’s wisdom and leadership as the new Head of State to guide Sabah toward greater unity, harmony and prosperity.
“Personally, I reaffirm my commitment to supporting the State’s vision under Tun Musa’s guidance and leadership in driving Sabah forward. I also wished him success in his new role,” said Mositun in his statement.
He said he is optimistic that this new chapter of Tun Musa as the new TYT will bring many blessing to Sabah’s unity and development.
“As the new TYT effective on Jan 1, 2025, Tun Musa Aman will undoubtedly bring his wisdom and leadership to guide Sabah towards greater harmony and success,” Mositun said.
