SANDAKAN: Sabah UMNO Information Chief Datuk Suhaimi Haji Nasir has urged the Chief Minister and the implicated state assemblymen (YBs) to take decisive action in respect of the serious allegations made by an informant against the State Government’s administration.
“These allegations not only tarnish the reputation of the Chief Minister of Sabah and the Sabah Government but also undermine public trust in the state administration and deter potential investors,” he said in a statement on Friday.
Suhaimi, who is also the Member of Parliament for Libaran, emphasised that the state government must operate with integrity and remain free from any unfounded slander or accusations.
He called for the chief minister and the implicated YBs to file a police report and initiate legal action to send a clear message that false accusations will not be tolerated and to uphold the truth.
“I will continue to monitor the developments of this issue and provide full support to anyone striving to uphold truth and justice.
“Such decisive action is essential to ensure that the state government continues to be respected and trusted by the public,” he asserted.
