Azuwan laments attempts to incite anti-parti Malaya feelings, jeopardising the initiatives to foster a united and harmonious nation

KOTA BELUD: Azuwan Marjan Norjan, the BN Coordinator for the area, expressed his deep concern over these attempts by certain political figures to sow seeds of hatred ‘anti parti Malaya’.

He emphasised that such actions could have detrimental effects on the creation of a united and peaceful country.

“I urge the people of this state to resist being swayed by these divisive sentiments for political gain, as they could lead to fragmentation and ultimately hinder the government’s initiatives to develop our state,” he stated.

In this respect, Azuwan, the Kota Belud UMNO, called on the government to focus on fulfilling the economic aspirations of the people by implementing all development plans, particularly in providing essential infrastructure such as roads, clean water, electricity, and rapid economic growth.

He made these remarks while officiating the Independence Day celebration organised by the Neighbourhood Watch Area at the community hall at Kampung Pirasan on Friday night.

Azuwan reminded the citizens to truly appreciate the meaning of independence, fostering a spirit of patriotism and nurturing love among all ethnic groups.

He stressed that this spirit must manifest in strong unity and harmony to maintain the prosperity and well-being of society in our nation.
