KOTA MARUDU As the state election approaches, Barisan Nasional (BN) is dedicated to establishing a robust and well-entrenched presence in Bandau, focusing on the communities it aims to serve.
Sabah BN treasurer Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak emphasised the significance of engaging with the grassroots to thoroughly comprehend and address the needs of the community.
“Today, in my capacity as BN Treasurer, I visited Bandau to assess the readiness and organisation of our party’s machinery.
“I am pleased to inform you that UMNO’s machinery in Bandau is well-prepared and motivated, demonstrating our commitment to making substantial contributions to the community,” he said.
Salleh made these remarks following a BN briefing held in the area.
He acknowledged, however, that there is always potential for enhancement.
“We are currently concentrating on fortifying our machinery at the village level.
“Our strategy involves collaborating with local leaders, volunteers, and community members to establish a strong network capable of effectively conveying our vision and objectives to every household in Bandau,” he elaborated.
Salleh, who is also Usukan assemblyman expressed his belief that the campaign’s strength lies with those who are most familiar with the community—the residents who engage with it daily.
Furthermore, he noted that BN is actively identifying loyal supporters—those who have consistently backed BN and align with the party’s vision for progress and stability.
“These dedicated supporters will be instrumental in our campaign, serving not only as voters but also as advocates for our mission within their communities.
“Our objective is clear: to ensure that every voice in Bandau is acknowledged and that BN remains a catalyst for positive change in the lives of the people we serve,” he remarked.
Salleh expressed confidence in BN’s preparations and reaffirmed their commitment to diligently securing the support of the Bandau populace.
“Together, we can create a brighter future for our community,” he said.
Also in attendance at the briefing were Kota Marudu UMNO chief Datuk Ismarah Madcasar and key players of the Kota Marudu UMNO Division.
