KOTA KINABALU: Two individuals were injured after being thrown from the ‘sotong ride’ at a fun fair near the Likas Sports Complex here on Wednesday night.
They are believed to have fallen from the ride while it was in motion.
Several video clips and images of the incident have gone viral on social media.
The District Fire and Rescue Department reportedly received an emergency call regarding the incident at 8:58 p.m..
The victims received initial treatment from members of the Emergency Medical Response Service (EMRS) before being taken to the hospital.
It is reported that the fire department concluded their operation at 9:30 p.m.
