Among the existing attractions in Inanam are the Kionsom Waterfall, Mari-Mari Cultural Village, and Kokol Farmstay holiday resort.

Its minister, Datuk Christina Liew, said that this is because Inanam has a beautiful area, with a significant portion of it located within the Crocker Range Biosphere Reserve (CRBR), which she believes has great potential to be developed as a tourism centre, both individually and communally.

She also mentioned that visitors to the Inanam area have had the opportunity to witness rapid development in recent times.

According to Christina, Inanam has also become a focus for property investors.

She made these remarks while officiating the Chinese New Year Celebration for DUN Inanam in Kolombong today.

Also present were State Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food Industry and Inanam Assemblyman Peto Galim, as well as Assistant Minister of Finance and Likas Assemblyman Tan Lee Fatt.

Christina urged the people to embrace the values of resilience, courage, and unity symbolised by the Chinese zodiac sign of the dragon, which represents prosperity, good fortune, and positive energy.

She also called on the diverse communities and religions in the Inanam area to continue supporting the efforts of the state and federal governments in bringing the country to a glorious era.
