KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa has congratulated the staff of Beaufort Hospital, located in rural Sabah, on its efforts to provide several more specialist services at the hospital.
They include general surgery specialist services with the permanent placement of general surgeons (in-house) on Feb 1 and obstetrics and gynecology (O&G) specialists on Jan 3.
“It is a pioneering effort to continue to improve and expand other quality specialist services to the people of Sabah, especially in the Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, and Sipitang districts as well as Lawas in Sarawak,” she said in a Facebook post on Friday.
