KOTA KINABALU: DAP Sabah chairman cum Tanjung Papat assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung has been as the Chairman of Sabah Development Berhad (SDB) effective January 13, 2023.

Frankie Poon’s appointment letter was handed over by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, here today.
“This is a heavy and huge responsibility. I wish to thank CM for the trust and confidence he has entrusted me with,” Frankie Poon said in a statement.
In 2022, SDB had given dividends and contributions to the State Govt amounting to RM20 Millions.
“I will do my best to at least equal or better. To the general public, let us work together towards the economic development of Sabah,” he said.l
