SANDAKAN: I received complaints of no treated water supply from a family at Taman Khong Lok in Mile 7.
Apparently it has been close to 6 months with low water supply to hardly any treated water supply within the last 3 months for this family.
I am rather shocked that this kind of service can be allowed to happen in this day an age. Especially when this is a housing estate, with house assessment and utilites updated.
I wish to understand from the water Department why they have not addressed this essential needs and which should have been addressed and resolved within 24 hours.
If our country wishes to progress and be a developed Nation we must be able to resolve basic issues within 24 hours. How else can we expect local and foreign investors to come and to provide employments to our locals?
I suggest the Ministry concerned should get up from the comfort of their armchair and move fast .
