KOTA KINABALU – Parti Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (KDM) is looking into contesting the Tenom and Papar seats in the upcoming 15th general election (GE15).
Its president, Datuk Peter Anthony said the top leadership will finalise its decision on the matter soon.
“As of now, we have yet to decide the number of seats we are going to contest.
“As a president, I will consider contesting in Tenom. We will also look into the possibility of contesting the Papar parliamentary constituency,” he said.
He said this to reporters after chairing the KDM supreme council meeting, here on Friday.
Peter, who is also Melalap State Assemblyman said although KDM has not yet been accepted into the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), KDM remains a government-friendly party at the federal and state levels.
