KOTA KINABALU: Some may call it election fever, of sorts, and it has begun.
Today, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin announced her decision to quit Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) as well as her entry into Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM).
“Insya-Allah, I will meet Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob soonest to discuss my resignation as Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities,” she said in a statement,
Zuraida said she would also discuss the role and direction of PBM to further strengthen the Malaysian Family concept of the government led by the Prime Minister.
“I see a lot of potential in PBM, and I believe in the struggles of this party.
“God willing, my participation as well as experience will help steer PBM to greater heights, especially ahead of the upcoming general election,” said the Ampang MP.
