COVID: 7,654 new cases, most in Selangor – Health DG

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 7,654 COVID-19 cases were recorded today, a sharp increase from yesterday’s 6,387, bringing the cumulative number of cases in the country so far to 792,693.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in his Twitter post said that Selangor still recorded the most number of new daily cases with 3,260, followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,550); Negeri Sembilan (698); Kedah (337); Johor (313); Sarawak (286); Melaka (230); and Sabah (225).
Meanwhile, Penang recorded 185 cases, Pahang (180); Kelantan (118); Perak (94); Labuan (82); Terengganu (61); Putrajaya (33); and Perlis (two).
