BEAUFORT: Residents in Lumadan are advised to be prepared for a possible third wave of floods.

In making the call, State Assemblyman for Lumadan, Ruslan Muharam said due to uncertain weather of late, heavy rain is likely to occur again, which might possibily result in third wave of floods.
“We dont want our people to be caught off guard…that’s we must always be ready for any eventuality, ” said Ruslan of Lumadan, a flood-prone area.
He told reporters this after presenting contributions to flood victims at Kampung Suasa, Beaufort today.
He said about 5,000 packs of food were distributed to flood victims in Lumadan in stages.
Ruslan also reminded the people to be extra careful during the rainy season.
