KOTA KINABALU: Gardenia Bakeries (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a company owned by Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad (KTC), has taken note of statements and issues circulating on social media concerning Gardenia products, as referenced in an official statement by Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd.
In response, KTC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dexter Lau clarified that Gardenia Bakeries (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd are separate business entities, each with different ownership and management.
“Nevertheless, we assure all consumers that food safety, hygiene, quality control, and compliance with established standards and regulations remain priorities in every aspect of our operations.
“We remain committed to ensuring that every product we make meets the required food safety and quality standards,” he said in a statement here today.
Datuk Dexter said KTC values the continued trust and support of consumers and will keep working to uphold its commitment to providing safe, high-quality products.
