KOTA KINABALU: Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr.) Musa Haji Aman, was pleased to receive a courtesy call from former Sabah Chief Minister and former colleague, Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat, at Istana Seri Kinabalu recently.
“We go back many years, having served together in government, including during his administration before I succeeded him as Chief Minister in 2003.
“While we have had our differences, it was good to catch up with a familiar face and reflect on our shared journey in politics and public service,” he said in a statement.
They also exchanged views on matters concerning the nation, particularly Sabah.
“How time flies, but I believe there is always value in keeping lines of communication open and maintaining ties as we move forward,” he said.
