KOTA KINABALU: The collaborative partnership among Warisan, the Democratic Prosperity Party (KDM), and STAR continues to solidify at the divisional tier, following the active participation of leaders from all three parties at Warisan Sepanggar’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
KDM Vice President Jumardie Lukman, who also serves as Sepanggar KDM Division Chief, attended the event alongside his divisional leadership team.
STAR Karambunai leadership, headed by Datuk Stephen Teo, also graced the occasion with their delegation.
According to Jumardie, the unity among these local parties must be continuously reinforced at the grassroots level to effectively champion Sabah’s issues and interests.
He emphasized that strong relationships among divisional leaders are crucial for translating the established cooperation into concrete joint programs and collaborative initiatives.
The attendance of KDM and STAR leaders at Warisan Sepanggar’s AGM represents an ongoing commitment to strengthening ties among the three parties at the local level.
During the closing ceremony, Jumardie rallied all attendees to voice a unified call as a symbol of solidarity.
“Ayuh Sabahan! Kita bangun bersama, bersatu berpadu. KITA JAGA SABAH!”
Jumardie explained that this rallying cry embodies a message of unity and collaborative spirit among Sabah’s local political parties.
