Tuaran to host the Malaysia Open Carrom Team  Championship – Sabah Chief Minister Cup 2026

TUARAN: The Open Carrom Team Championship Malaysia Chief Minister of Sabah Cup 2.0 in 2026 will be held at Dewan Seri Sulaman, located nearby for two days starting November 7th.

In preparation for hosting this prestigious competition, a competition committee meeting was convened at the Conference Room, Rumpun Bajausama Sabah Cultural Center Building, Kampung Lok Batik here on Saturday.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mohammad Zaineh bin Haji Jali @ Zieco.

The meeting discussed preparations, coordination of committee responsibilities, and matters related to implementation to ensure the competition’s success.

According to the organizers, the competition aims to provide a platform for carrom enthusiasts to gather, strengthen community bonds, and encourage public participation in sports and recreational activities.

The meeting also served as a coordination space among committee members to ensure that competition management aspects, technical matters, participant registration, logistics, and program scheduling are planned systematically.

During the meeting, the organizers established that each team wishing to participate in the competition will be charged a registration fee of RM100.
