KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Government Teachers’ Union (KGKS) reaffirmed its commitment to deepening collaboration and partnership with the Sabah State Education Department (JPN Sabah) through a courtesy visit to the State Director of Education, Hajj Abidin bin Haji Marjan, at the State Education Director’s Office, Wisma JPN Sabah, near here on Monday.
The courtesy visit was led by KGKS Sabah State President, Murkam bin Hajj Hussien, accompanied by senior KGKS leadership as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the strategic relationship between the union and the state education administration.
This meeting provided a vital platform to enhance communication, foster mutual understanding, and present educators’ aspirations and concerns in the collective endeavor to elevate the teaching profession and improve educational quality throughout Sabah.
KGKS firmly believes that a robust partnership between the union and JPN Sabah forms the foundation for building synergy, consensus, and sustained cooperation to create a more effective educational ecosystem that benefits teachers, education professionals, and Sabah’s students.
This visit also demonstrates KGKS’s unwavering commitment to serving as a strategic partner in supporting the state’s educational agenda while continuously and constructively championing the interests and welfare of education professionals.
