KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) proudly hosted its Father’s Day 2026 Celebration at Choice Restaurant, Kepayan, bringing together members in a warm and family-oriented gathering to honor fathers and father figures for their invaluable contributions to families and society.
The event was led by the President of SICC, Datuk Jothi JP, who joined members in recognizing the sacrifices, dedication, and unwavering commitment of fathers in nurturing strong families and communities.
Datuk Jothi JP emphasized that Father’s Day serves as a meaningful occasion to express gratitude and appreciation for the countless sacrifices made by fathers throughout their lives.
“Fathers play a vital role as providers, protectors, mentors and role models. Their guidance, hard work and unconditional love help shape the future of our children and contribute significantly to the strength of our society,” he said.
He further noted that strong families are the foundation of a prosperous and harmonious community. Fathers continue to inspire resilience, responsibility, and integrity in future generations through their leadership and commitment.
The Father’s Day celebration also provided an opportunity for SICC members to strengthen fellowship, promote unity and reinforce the values of family and community spirit among members of the business community.
