Tham urges the Sabah minister of works to coordinate agency actions to resolve the water leakage issue

KOTA KINABALU: Likas Assemblyman Tham Yun Fook has called on the Sabah Minister of Works to intervene in coordinating the actions of various agencies to address the ongoing water leakage problem in front of the KPJ Sabah Hospital in Luyang.

He stated that numerous efforts, including inspections, monitoring, and excavation work, have been conducted, yet the actual source of the water flow remains unidentified.

He emphasised that this issue should not be taken lightly, as it poses a risk to road users’ safety and could potentially damage the road’s structure.

Tham also suggested that the government consider hiring external technical experts if necessary to expedite the process of identifying the true cause of the leakage.
