KOTA KINABALU: The Second President cum Honorary President of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah, Datuk Frankie Liew, remarked that “stability is the foundation, and precision is the direction,” emphasising that only through the continuous strengthening of execution and management capabilities can the chamber progress further and more steadily into the future.
He noted that the successful execution of the 2026 Annual Ball, “Timeless Elegance · A Night of Brilliance,” was anchored in the team’s maturity in organisational structure and operational processes, reflecting the chamber’s ongoing advancement in management capabilities and institutional efficiency.
He added that the success of the gala was not only measured by its scale and reception, but also by the clarity of its overall workflow and the precision of its execution. From pre-event preparations to on-site operations, each segment was seamlessly connected with clearly defined roles, demonstrating a stable and sustainable execution framework.
“The quality of an event often depends on the systems and processes behind it, not merely what is visible on the surface,” he said, noting that the smooth delivery of the gala was made possible by the team’s clear control of timelines and strong adaptability at every stage.
He further emphasised the importance of meticulous detail management. “When processes are well structured, execution naturally becomes more precise.” Such stability in performance, he added, stems from the combination of thorough preparation and effective real-time coordination—both essential to the success of large-scale events.
He also highlighted the strong coordination in resource integration and manpower deployment, which enabled different units and teams to work efficiently together, minimising overlap and friction while enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Datuk Frankie added that under the leadership and coordination of President Datuk Dexter Lau, the team was able to maintain clear direction and effective collaboration throughout the complex preparation process, which was a key factor contributing to the success of the gala.
He concluded that the chamber should continue to strengthen institutionalisation and process-driven development, further refining execution mechanisms and internal collaboration models to enhance overall efficiency and to meet the demands of larger-scale and more complex events in the future.
