PKR Tempasuk fully supports BN candidate Azuwan Marjan

KOTA BELUD: The PKR Tempasuk division has decided to extend full support to Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Azuwan Marjan, who is involved in a seven-cornered fight, which includes candidates from the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

According to the PKR Tempasuk Information Chief, Aziz Bilin, this decision was made with the agreement of all members of the DUN Coordinating Committee.

He further stated that despite the collaboration between GRS-PH and BN, those representing the PKR Tempasuk have taken into account the BN-PH cooperation at the federal level.

Aziz emphasised that this collaboration is crucial and should be maintained in preparation for the 16th General Election.

He made these remarks in his latest social media post.

Meanwhile, the PKR Tempasuk Coordinator, Arshad Haji Abdul Rahman, presented a memorandum of understanding to BN candidate Azuwan Marjan during a brief ceremony here.

The Election Commission (EC) has set November 29, 2025, as the date for the 17th State Election, with early voting scheduled for November 25.

On October 6, the Chief Minister of Sabah announced the dissolution of the State Assembly (DUN) to pave the way for the 17th Sabah State Election.

The Sabah State Legislative Assembly consists of 79 seats, with 73 contested, while six are appointed members.
