KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan has torn into Hajiji Noor’s administration, branding it a regime of lies, propaganda, and hollow promises that insult the intelligence of Sabahans.
The statement, delivered by Datuk James Ratib on Hajiji’s behalf, was condemned by Warisan as nothing more than “political theatre.” Warisan said the so-called progress under the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Plan is pure fantasy, crafted to deceive voters.
“Where are the results? Where is the evidence? Sabahans deserve facts, not fairy tales,” Warisan declared. “The Hajiji government hides behind empty slogans while the people suffer from poor roads, unreliable water, blackouts, and widening poverty.”
Projects in Kalabakan — roads, water, and electricity — were singled out as glaring examples of lies dressed up as development. “No data. No budget breakdown. No timeline. Just recycled promises. It is a deliberate attempt to mislead Sabahans,” the statement continued.
Warisan also blasted the government’s desperate appeal for a “local-party dominated government,” calling it a direct assault on democracy. “This is not about stability. This is about clinging to power, silencing dissent, and keeping Sabahans trapped in mismanagement,” the party charged.
The linking of Sabah’s future to Indonesia’s capital relocation to Nusantara was dismissed as shameless election spin. “Without funding or agreements, the so-called road project is nothing but a cheap election-year gimmick. It is a fairy tale sold to desperate voters,” Warisan said.
Warisan’s Demands
Stop the lies. End the propaganda immediately.
Show the proof. Release real data, verified reports, and clear budgets.
Be accountable. Name timelines, show progress, or step down.
Respect democracy. Stop hiding behind slogans and face the people honestly.
“Enough is enough. Sabahans are not fools. The Hajiji government cannot continue to insult the people with empty promises and fake achievements,” Warisan declared.
“Sabah deserves real development, real leadership, and real accountability. Warisan will continue to fight for the truth and for the rights of Sabahans, no matter how much this government tries to deceive or suppress us.”
