SANDAKAN: Tanjong Papat Chinese Community Leader Kapitan Thomas Lau hosted a breaking of fast dinner for members of the Sandakan Police Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division on Sunday.
Sandakan Police Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division personnel, led by the in-charge ASP Freddy Untun, attended the event at the Waterfront Seafood Restaurant in town.
Lau, who is also SAPP deputy president and SAPP Sandakan CLC deputy chairman, said the dinner was to appreciate the traffic policemen’s sacrifices during the current hot weather and fasting month to ensure our roads continue to be safe for road users.
Lau also reminded all road users in the district to adhere to traffic safety rules at all times and contribute positively towards making our roads safer for everyone to travel on.
