KOTA KINABALU: Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor emphasises the detrimental effects of self-serving politicians who prioritise their own interests over the well-being of the people and the nation.
According to BERNAMA, he expresses his desire for the Sabah government to avoid getting entangled in these political games.
Instead, the focus should be on fulfilling the aspirations of the people, who seek progress and development for their own welfare.
As the chairman of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), Hajiji highlights the effectiveness of the unity government and emphasises the need for full support to safeguard the welfare of the people and continue the economic development of the country.
He emphasises that now is the time to actively work, serve, and contribute towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
The state government is committed to standing alongside the federal government in the fight to protect the people’s fate and ensure the progress and prosperity of the country.
During a dinner to welcome members of the Selangor government, led by Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari, to Sabah, Hajiji reiterated Sabah’s dedication to the unity government and its rejection of any attempts to disrupt the current administration.
