KOTA KINABALU: The collaboration between STAR, PBS, and UPKO is crucial for the betterment of the people and to strengthen the GRS (Gabungan Rakyat Sabah) coalition.
Former Petagas assemblyman Datuk James Ligunjang said that by uniting and carving a vision of unity, these parties can work together to address the needs and aspirations of the people, ensuring their welfare and progress.
“Unity among these parties will allow for a more cohesive and efficient governance structure. By coming together, they can pool their resources, expertise, and experiences to formulate effective policies that benefit all segments of society.
“This collaboration can lead to better implementation of development plans, improved public services, and overall socioeconomic progress for the state,” he said in his latest social media posting.
According to Ligunjang, a united vision will help eliminate any internal conflicts or divisions within the GRS coalition.
“When parties are clear about their shared goals and objectives, they can work together more harmoniously, putting aside personal differences or party-centric interests,” he added.
Ligunjang said this will create a stronger and more stable coalition, enabling them to focus on serving the people rather than engaging in petty political disputes.
Additionally, according to him, a unified vision will enhance communication and coordination among these parties.
“It will facilitate efficient decision-making processes, ensuring that consensus is reached on matters that impact the people.
“This will prevent any delays or disagreements that may hinder the coalition’s ability to deliver on its promises and responsibilities,” he said.
A united front will contribute to the confidence and trust of the people in the GRS coalition, he said.
“When the parties within the coalition demonstrate a commitment to unity and collaboration, it will reflect positively on their governance and leadership.
“This, in turn, will inspire public confidence and support, creating a more favourable environment for effective governance and long-term stability,” he said.
Ligunjang said the collaboration between STAR, PBS, and UPKO is pivotal to strengthening the GRS coalition.
He added that by uniting and creating a vision of unity, these parties can enhance their governance, eliminate internal conflicts, improve communication, and boost public confidence.
“Together, they can work towards realising the aspirations and welfare of the people, fostering a prosperous and harmonious Sabah,” said Ligunjang.
